​The IDEA Exchange
This is a Task Force of the Blue Springs Chamber that meets at least quarterly.  IDEA stands for Insight, Deliberate Empathy and Awareness.  

Insight: the power or act of seeing into or understanding something
Deliberate Empathy:  Deliberate empathy is the act of intentionally focusing on another person's feelings and perspective. It can involve listening to someone with the goal of understanding their experience. 
Awareness:  Concern about and well-informed interest in a situation or fact

Goals of Group

• To foster understanding, respect, and collaboration among businesspeople and community leaders
• To offer educational programs that include opportunities for dialogue and shared experiences
