Hours:
Weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Driving Directions:
CTC is located 10 minutes north of Blue Springs. Drive north on Highway 7, then turn into the Fort Osage campus after passing the 7 and 24-Hwy intersection. CTC is the second building on the right.
The Career & Technology Center at Fort Osage is a college and career preparatory center for high school juniors and seniors. Students from the Blue Springs, Fort Osage, Grain Valley, and Oak Grove School Districts can explore a variety of career paths, from firefighting and welding to nursing and cybersecurity, and gain actual experience in the field. Students are graduating with credentials like Fire I & II, EMT-Basic, American Welding Society (AWS), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and a motor vehicle inspector license.
Sending schools cover tuition for their students, resulting in zero tuition costs for families. Students spend two hours with CTC and the rest of their day with their high schools, which allows them to stay active in activities like sports, theater, band, and cheerleading, maintain part-time jobs, and get involved with their community.
